“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14. That light was evident in the 68 students who were inducted into one or more of St. Thomas Aquinas High School’s academic honor societies on Tuesday, April 16. They have not hidden their talents and gifts but have developed and used them to the best of their abilities. These students have gone above-and-beyond in their academics in the fields of Latin, French, Italian, Spanish, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Additionally, students who have excelled in both academics and service to other were commended with induction into the National Honors Society. These students have met the stringent academic requirements for induction and have made a pledge to continue to strive for knowledge and to apply their God-given talents towards the greater good.
