Academic Program of Studies

St. Thomas Aquinas High School is committed to providing its students with a challenging academic program that will prepare them for success at the collegiate level and byond. STA also prides itself on offering a rigorous and stimulating educational experience for learners of all styles.

College Preparatory Courses

Our standard program of studies is our College Preparatory Program. It focuses on providing a challenging and well-rounded education for students whose goal is to attend college.

Honors Courses

For students seeking an additional challenge, our Honors courses offer a faster-paced, more rigorous learning experience that covers a broader array of concepts. Available for nearly every class, students are eligible based on entrance exam scores or teacher recommendations.

Advanced Placement Program

This program includes the most challenging courses that St. Thomas Aquinas offers. Students engage in college-level work, experiencing a college-like atmosphere. Advanced Placement courses are available in various subjects, and students can earn college credit based on their performance on the end-of-year assessments.

Aquinas Scholars Honors Program

The St. Thomas Aquinas High School Honors Program is designed to inspire high-achieving students to strive for excellence in their intellectual, spiritual, and social lives. The program is built on three distinct, yet inseparable and equally important areas which, when put together, assure that our students will succeed not only in their individual lives but also become contributing members to the wellbeing of our society.
