Admission Requirements And Application

Incoming Freshmen

All current 8th grade students who wish to apply to St. Thomas Aquinas High School for the 2025-2026 school year must complete our online application and take the Scholastic Testing High School Placement Test. Please have a copy of your 6th and 7th grade report card or school transcript ready when you apply. You will need to scan or take a picture of these record(s) and attach it to the application below. If your child has an Individual Educational / Service Plan (IEP / ISP) or a 504 plan, a complete copy of this plan should be attached to the online application or emailed to Mrs. Veni at [email protected]. Please send this in at least one week prior to the testing date in order to receive extra time on the test.

The Scholastic Testing High School Placement Test evaluates a student's basic skills in reading, writing and mathematics. Please review the test administration information below:

  • The HSPT makeup date will be Wednesday, December 4 and Wednesday, January 8 at 8:30 a.m.

    Students must report to St. Thomas Aquinas High School at 8:15 a.m.

  • The test will begin approximately at 8:30 a.m. and end at approximately 11:30 a.m.

  • Students should bring with them two non-mechanical sharpened #2 pencils.

  • They should also bring their testing fee that day: $75 cash or check made payable to St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
  • Test results will be shared with Immaculata High School.

Transfer Students

Thank you for your interest in transferring to St. Thomas Aquinas High School.  To be considered for admission as a transfer student, please complete the form by clicking the button below. Please have a copy of your high school transcript or report cards ready when you apply. You will need to scan or take a picture of these record(s) and attach it to the application below. If your child has an Individual Educational / Service Plan (IEP / ISP) or a 504 plan, a complete copy of this plan should be attached to the online application or emailed to Mrs. Veni at [email protected].

Please note that St. Thomas Aquinas does not accept students who are looking to transfer into the school as a 12th grader. St. Thomas do not accept transfer students during the 3rd and 4th quarters.

Once all of the information is received, the Admissions Committee will meet and make a decision on the application. The applicant will then be notified about the decision within two weeks.
