Donation Programs
Year-Round Donations
St. Thomas Aquinas High School will collect the following items at any time throughout the school year:
- Food (non-perishable items only)
- Used Eyeglasses
- Cell Phones
- Soda Tabs
- Box Tops
- Socks and toiletries
All of the above items can be brought to room 106.
CSAC Coat and Blanket Collection
All coats need to be in good, wearable condition. If something needs to be fixed (buttons, zippers, tears, etc.), fix it before handing it in. Only coats in good, wearable condition will be accepted!
Thanksgiving Food and Turkey Drive
STA is conducts an annual Thanksgiving food and turkey drive from October through November.
Students are asked to bring the following food items to their religion class and/or the bookstore: cranberry sauce, gravy, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, canned soup, canned veggies, macaroni, peanut butter, powdered milk, dried beans, tuna fish, etc. The student signs in with their religion teacher.
Prom Gown Collection
Collection of new and used Prom Gowns and accessories (handbags, formal shoes, costume jewelry, unopened cosmetics or hosiery) will take place in late winter.
This project gives prom dresses to young women who cannot afford to buy a dress to attend their prom.
Gowns, etc. can be brought to Rm. 106a (check the calendar for dates).
Communion Dresses
New and used Communion dresses/suits will be collected during the month of March. These dresses/suits will be given to the St. Vincent de Paul Society to distribute to their clients who are in need of a nice communion outfit.
Dresses/suits, if used, must be clean and usable. Specific dates will be given later in the year.
Used Clothing Drive
The used clothing drive will take place in early spring (check the calendar for dates).
Start saving your clothes, including shoes, clothes, belts, stuffed animals, etc.
Place these items in extra large and sturdy garbage bags. They do not have to be sorted or labeled.
