Aquinas Excellence in the Arts
Welcome to the vibrant world of Performing Arts at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, where every student is invited to explore and nurture their passion for music and drama. Rooted in the values of truth, faith, love, and friendship, our programs are designed to help students realize their full potential and foster lifelong connections. From the moment you step onto our campus, you’ll find a community that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and the joy of performing together.
Our music season is a year-round celebration of harmony and talent. Starting with the Marching Band and Color Guard in the summer, our musical journey continues through the school year with vocal and instrumental concert ensembles. Students come together to present two major concerts: the heartwarming Christmas Concert in December and the vibrant Spring Concert in late April or early May. These performances are not just about showcasing talent; they are about coming together to share the gift of music with our community and beyond.
The theatre season at STA is an exhilarating experience that spans from July to April, offering students multiple opportunities to shine on stage. We kick off the season with our Shakespeare and the Classics program in September, often complemented by a night of One-Act plays. November brings an intimate small cast production, while the grand finale is our large-cast musical in March and April. Each production is a testament to the dedication, creativity, and teamwork of our students, as they bring stories to life and share their gifts with the world.
Join us at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, where the performing arts are more than just activities—they are a way to illuminate the gifts of truth, faith, love, and friendship within each student, inspiring acts of kindness and excellence in our community and beyond.
