Academic Programs of Study
St. Thomas Aquinas High School is committed to providing its students with a challenging academic program that will prepare them for success at the collegiate level. STA also prides itself on offering a rigorous and stimulating educational experience for learners of all styles.
College Preparatory Courses
Our standard program of studies is our College Preparatory Program. It focuses on providing a challenging and well-rounded education for students whose goal is to attend college.
Honors Courses
For students that are ready for an additional challenge, our Honors courses offer a faster-paced, more rigorous learning experience that covers a broader array of concepts. Available for almost every class, students are eligible to take Honors courses based on entrance exam scores or by teacher recommendation.
Advanced Placement Program
This program includes the most challenging courses that St. Thomas Aquinas offers. Students in Advanced Placement courses are exposed to a college-like atmosphere, engaging in college-level work. Advanced Placement courses are available in individual subject areas and students can receive college credit based on their performance on the end-of-year assessment.

Honors Program
Predicated on a strong middle school academic record and exceptional entrance exam scores, the Honors Program is a sequence of study that is specifically and exclusively designed for highly motivated and high-achieving students.
