STA Drama Department Earns Eight Bergen PAC High School Musical Awards Nominations for Frozen: The Broadway Musical

St. Thomas Aquinas High School is proud to celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of our Drama Department following this year’s production of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical.

The Bergen Performing Arts Center High School Musical Awards recently announced this year’s nominations, recognizing excellence in high school theater productions across the region. We are incredibly proud to share that St. Thomas Aquinas High School received nominations in eight categories, tying with only one other school for the most nominations overall. More than 70 schools submitted productions for adjudication.

STA’s nominations include:

• Best Lobby Design
• Special Technical Feature
• Best Production Set Design
• Best Lighting Design
• Best Hair and Makeup Design
• Best Costume Design
• Best Direction
• Outstanding Overall Musical

These nominations are a tremendous reflection of the talent, creativity, and dedication of our students, staff, volunteers, and production team who worked tirelessly to bring this magical production to life.

Special recognition goes to Drama Department Director and Show Director Mrs. Lea Gossett, whose leadership, vision, and passion continue to elevate the performing arts experience at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Under her direction, the STA Drama Department has become a place where students are encouraged to grow creatively, collaborate meaningfully, and perform with excellence both on and off the stage.

From stunning costumes and breathtaking lighting to unforgettable performances and technical innovation, Frozen: The Broadway Musical showcased the incredible depth of talent within our One Trojan Family.

The Bergen PAC High School Musical Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m.
