STA Announces Ryan Amorelli as Head Bowling Coach

St. Thomas Aquinas High School is proud to announce the appointment of Ryan Amorelli as the new Head Bowling Coach for the Trojans. Amorelli currently serves as the assistant coach for Shore Regional High School’s bowling program and will bring his passion, experience, and strong coaching philosophy to St. Thomas Aquinas as he steps into this new leadership role.
A proud alumnus of Red Bank Regional High School, Coach Amorelli was a standout student-athlete and four-year varsity starter. Throughout his high school career, he earned numerous accolades, including serving as team captain as a sophomore, co-leading his team in high series and high average in three of his four seasons, and achieving scholar-athlete recognition. Upon his graduation in 2015, he held multiple school records and ranked within the top three in high series, high average, and high game.
Coach Amorelli holds a bachelor’s degree in sports administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an associate degree in education from Brookdale Community College.
“My philosophy focuses around player development, technique analysis and strategic game strategy, " shared Amorelli. “My goal is to rebuild and assemble a competitive and consistent program that meets and surpasses the standards STA is known for. We will create a culture that focuses on the student athlete’s development while also challenging them to grow, improve and develop a sense of admiration for the sport of bowling. I’m committed to helping make the bowling program a positive and fun experience for current and future Trojans.”
