Spreading Holiday Cheer: STA Students Bring Joy to Local Schools and Community Centers

This holiday season, students from St. Thomas Aquinas High School embraced the spirit of giving by visiting local Catholic schools and community centers to share the joy of Christmas with younger students.

STA students visited St. Helena’s, Assumption Catholic, St. Stan’s, and St. Matthias, bringing festive cheer through stories, crafts, and meaningful interactions. During each visit, students read Christmas-themed books, led holiday crafts, and engaged the children in conversations about the season of giving and service. These visits strengthened the bonds across our local Catholic schools, reminding everyone that Christmas is not only a time of celebration but also an opportunity to share kindness, generosity, and faith.

In addition to their visits to the schools, STA students, accompanied by Mrs. Diane Fucci, visited The Learning Experience in Bridgewater to support the community during the holidays. On their first visit, they assisted with the center’s Polar Express celebration, helping to create a joyful and memorable experience for the children. They returned a second time to guide the children in making gingerbread houses, spreading holiday cheer through creativity and hands-on fun.

These visits not only strengthened STA’s connection with the local community but also supported the center’s director, Stephanie Kearney ’13, while modeling the spirit of service and generosity that defines our school community.

We are proud of our students for embodying the values of faith, service, and community, and for making this holiday season brighter for so many.
