Dual Enrollment in Action: STA Students Explore Opportunities at Saint Elizabeth University

St. Thomas Aquinas High School recently accompanied students on a campus visit to Saint Elizabeth University as part of the school’s ongoing commitment to expanding dual enrollment opportunities and strengthening college pathway programs. The visit gave students the opportunity to tour state-of-the-art training facilities and experience firsthand what early college coursework can look like in a university setting.

Saint Elizabeth University is a valued dual enrollment collegiate partner, providing St. Thomas Aquinas students the ability to complete college-level courses and earn transferable credits while still in high school. These courses allow students to accelerate their academic progress, gain confidence in a collegiate learning environment, and begin shaping their postsecondary goals earlier in their high school journey.

One of the most distinctive components of this partnership is the pathway into Saint Elizabeth University’s nursing program. Qualified STA students may transition directly into the program as second-year students following high school graduation, offering a clear and efficient route into a high-demand professional field.
