Celebrating Excellence: January Students and Faculty/Staff Member of the Month

Each month, St. Thomas Aquinas High School proudly recognizes students who exemplify Trojan values both in and out of the classroom. These honors highlight those who go above and beyond in their academics, character, leadership, and commitment to strengthening our school community.

Students are selected by faculty and staff based on the following criteria:
• Academic effort and growth
• Character and leadership
• Respect for others and commitment to our school community

These benchmarks reflect the foundation of what it means to be a Trojan—striving for excellence, acting with integrity, and contributing positively to the life of our school.

January Students of the Month

We are pleased to announce the Student of the Month from each class:

• Freshman Class, Class of 2029 — Noah Bigg

• Sophomore Class, Class of 2028 — Ava DePasquale

• Junior Class, Class of 2027 — Hector Fuentes

• Senior Class, Class of 2026 — Lillian Chadwick

Each of these students brings a unique blend of character, dedication, and quiet leadership to St. Thomas Aquinas. Their kindness, work ethic, and respect for others strengthen the culture we strive to build every day. We are deeply proud of who they are, how they treat others, and the example they set for their classmates. Their presence enriches our school community and reflects the true spirit of One Trojan Family.

January Faculty/Staff Member of the Month

In addition to honoring our students, we are proud to highlight a member of our faculty or staff each month. This recognition is especially meaningful because it is driven by student nominations. It provides an opportunity for students to thank those who inspire them, support them, and make a lasting impact on their high school experience.

This month’s Faculty/Staff Member of the Month is Mr. Paul Nolan.

One student shared, “Every day, Mr. Nolan shows dedication to his students and to history itself. He always teaches his best through lectures and meaningful assignments each week, and it shows.”

Mr. Nolan, your dedication to our students, your commitment to excellence, and the care you bring to our school community do not go unnoticed. Thank you for the countless ways you enrich St. Thomas Aquinas each day. Our school is stronger because of you.
