Seventeen students took part in this year’s Lent Retreat, centered around the powerful theme: "Revive." Rooted in the spirit of Lent, the retreat invited students to reflect on how this sacred season is a time of growth, healing, and transformation. Through prayer, fellowship, and honest self-discovery, participants explored how God calls each of us into deeper relationship with Him, reviving our faith, restoring our hearts, and preparing us to rise with Christ at Easter.
Throughout the evening, students engaged in activities, games, discussion groups, Eucharistic Adoration, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. These experiences helped create space for reflection and renewal both individually and as One Trojan Family. Misael Ortiz and Bella DePasquale served as retreat emcees, providing energy, joy, and guidance throughout the event. Several students shared personal testimonies of faith, including a teaching talk by Lucia Merendino, which offered wisdom and encouragement for the journey.
As we look toward the promise of the Resurrection, we are reminded that Jesus is our hope. In Him, we find the strength to overcome, to heal, and to begin again. "Love takes up where knowledge leaves off," wrote St. Thomas Aquinas—and during this retreat, our students beautifully lived that truth.
