Recently, a group of students and faculty joined forces to serve their community at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. With the guidance of faculty members Mrs. Diane Fucci, Mrs. Susan Dinicola-Tapia, and Ms. Trisha Ponik, the group dedicated its time to a vital cause: combating hunger in our state. Together, they packed an impressive 1,566 one-pound bags of dry pasta, which will be distributed to food pantries and soup kitchens across New Jersey.
This service trip was a powerful reminder of the importance of giving back and the impact we can make when we work together. Through their efforts, the STA team not only provided essential food for families in need but also demonstrated the core values of compassion, generosity, and faith in action. St. Thomas Aquinas High School is proud of the students and faculty who continue to lead by example, embodying our mission to serve others with love and dedication.
