The momentum kept building for the boys basketball team last night as it vied for the top spot in the White Division against rival Colonia. With this victory, the team cements a 53-game divisional winning streak, having won every division matchup since the 2016 season.
Leading the team to this important win were Michael Jones with a triple-double consisting of 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists; Jalen Pichardo with 9 points and 8 rebounds; Samir Thomas with 14 points; and Terrell Pitts with 10.
The team's only loss so far this season was in a showcase matchup that went into triple overtime.
