The new head coach for the Trojan football team is already making a name for himself. Coach Tarig Holman has been named the first Game Changer Coach of the Week for the 2022 season by the New York Jets. The title is awarded to tri-state area coaches who serve the best interests of young players by teaching sound fundamentals and by motivating players to achieve. Though in his first year at STA, Holman has 23 years of coaching experience, including 10 as head coach.
With the title, Holman also earned a $2,500 donation for the Trojan football program, an invitation to the NY Jets vs. Detroit Lions game on December 18 where he will be honored on-field, and tickets for each player to support his recognition.
