Over the weekend, the STA Music Department performed in the annual Music Showcase Festival in Hershey, PA. Each group received marks of either Excellent or Superior, the two highest rankings possible.
In addition to the group accolades, sectional and soloist awards were earned by Celeste Popola, Jamie Metz, Erin Ptack, David Irizarry, Kendrick Robles, Patrick Ponik, the Concert Woodwinds, and the Choral Baritones.
The Jazz Band and the Concert Choir received the highest scores of any high school groups that had performed with Music Showcase at Hershey this year.
