The girls basketball team finished the regular season (21-3) and earned its fifth GMC championship on Friday and its third in-a-row.
Leading the way for the Lady Trojans was freshman, Leah Crosby, who earned Player of the Game honors with a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds. Meanwhile, junior forward, Jessica Cooper chipped in with 20 points. Kayla Perez, senior guard, who scored 27 points in the semifinals, made the All GMCT Team with 12 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.
