Eleni Alvarez is truly a one of a kind student. She always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude to go with it. She has earned a spot in the Top 10% of the Class of 2021 and is finishing high school with a 4.46 GPA as a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Science Honor Society. She has been actively involved at STA and stands out as a leader, holding positions in our Christian Social Action Club, Ahr Star board, Future Lawyers of America Club, Ahr Choice, a Peer Leader, and the Vice President of the Student Council.
Eleni has accomplished all this while also being a 4-year varsity letter winner in cross country, winter track, and spring track. She has been named team captain for the last three years and her dedication and leadership helped lead the cross country team to a division title. Individually, she has been named to seven All-Division teams, three All-GMC teams, one Non-Public A state team, and two GMC titles.
Eleni will be attending Johns Hopkins University in the fall. While we are sad to lose Eleni, we very much are looking forward to seeing what this dynamic, well rounded, intelligent young woman will accomplish in the future!
