Trojan Pulse Summer Drumline Camp

Our one-week Drumline Intensive is an exciting, high-energy experience designed for students ages 10–15 at all experience levels—from first-time drummers to seasoned percussionists. Whether your child has never held a pair of sticks or already plays in a school ensemble, this camp offers the perfect balance of foundational instruction and advanced challenge in a fun, supportive environment.
Beginners will build confidence through clear, step-by-step instruction in stick control, timing, and basic rhythms, while more experienced players will refine technique, improve speed and precision, and take on more complex musical responsibilities. Students are grouped thoughtfully to ensure everyone is appropriately challenged and encouraged.
Throughout the week, campers will explore snare, tenor, bass, and auxiliary percussion, learning how individual parts come together to create the powerful, unified sound of a drumline. In addition to musical skills, students will develop ensemble awareness, focus, discipline, and teamwork—essential qualities for any successful performer.

Each day blends sectional instruction, full-ensemble rehearsals, rhythm games, and performance-building exercises to keep students engaged and progressing—no matter their starting point. The atmosphere is energetic and encouraging, with an emphasis on growth, positivity, and having fun while making great music together.
The week culminates in a live showcase performance for family and friends, where students demonstrate the cadences and routines they’ve prepared as a unified ensemble.
