Members of the African American Heritage Club, faculty, and staff of STA were invited on a tour of the West Wing of the White House by alumnus Justin Dews ’07. On Saturday, May 20th, they were given an in-depth behind the scenes view of the workings of the West Wing and the Executive Offices. Some of the stops on the tour included the Oval Office, Rose Garden, Press Room and Office of the Vice President. Club President Malaysia Cowherd said “the tour was not only informative and historical but also a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
