The Gymnastics team may be used to earning GMC Championships, but this year’s title is even more significant than usual. In addition to medaling in every event, the girls set a new state record high score of 112.275. With this monumental victory, the team is now ranked third in the state and continues its undefeated season with a record of 6-0.

Freshman Supriyha Moore was named the All-Around Champion; Captain Nina Sanguiliano took 4th place All-Around; and Freshman Sofia Bertocci took home the 5th place medal. Moore earned the Vault Champion medal and was joined on the podium with Bertocci in 4th. Sangiuliano earned the 1st place madal as Bars Champion and was joined on the podium with Moore in 3rd. On Floor, Moore took 2nd and Bertocci 5th.

In addition to their athletic achievements, the girls also represented STA’s commitment to service by taking home the 'Ron Mazzola Flip for Food' Trophy by contributing more pantry items per individual, items that were donated by students and faculty.

Congratulations to all the members of the team, to head coach Brant Lutska, and to assistant coaches Sam Obolsky and Amanda Cleveland-Miller; and good luck in the state tournament!
