STA Open House Shows: Aquinas in a Class of Its Own
Posted on 10/17/2022
"Warm and welcoming", "student-focused," “engaging,” "better than the rest.” These words from our guests describe not only our Fall Open House but St. Thomas Aquinas High School as a whole. The enormous turnout along with the presence of the entire STA faculty, parents, alumni, the complete coaching staff, and over 125 student volunteers, created an atmosphere of energy, engagement, and warmth. Visitors began lining up to enter the Open House as early as a half hour before the doors officially opened and most families stayed over an hour to enjoy the interactive presentations, talk with parents and alumni, and learn everything they needed to know about STA. Among the interactive presentations were a video production tutorial, demonstrations of student-built devices in the STEM Lab, drama and music games, strength and conditioning exercises, art stations, and more.

All students who are interested in STA are strongly encouraged to take the Placement Test on Saturday, November 5. This is the easiest way to check off this admission requirement. Register for the test at stahs.net/test. For any admissions questions, please visit stahs.net/admissions/prospective or call 732 549 1108 x616.

Anyone who was not able to attend the Open House is still able to discover all the things that make STA a great place for their child with our personal tours, virtual tours, and Freshman-for-a-Day. Visit stahs.net/visit to learn more!
