A TRADITION OF CHAMPIONS
Excellence is the standard for STA Gymnastics.
The Trojans are one of New Jersey’s most accomplished high school gymnastics programs, with a tradition built on teamwork, discipline, commitment and championship-level competition. In 2025, STA added another historic chapter to that legacy, capturing both the GMC Conference Championship and NJSIAA Gymnastics Team State Championship.
The Trojans completed an extraordinary championship season that included an undefeated GMC Red Division title, GMC Conference Championship, Cougar Classic Championship, NJSIAA Sectional B Championship and NJSIAA State Championship.
MAKING STATE HISTORY
At the 2025 NJSIAA Gymnastics Team Championship, STA delivered a record-setting team performance, scoring 114.025 to establish a new New Jersey state record and secure another state title.
With the victory, St. Thomas Aquinas reached 11 gymnastics team state championships, establishing STA as the New Jersey record holder for the most team state titles in the sport.
That success represents generations of Trojan gymnasts who have helped build a program where athletes compete for something greater than themselves.

STRONGER TOGETHER
Championship gymnastics requires more than individual talent. It takes trust, consistency and a team willing to work toward a common goal.
At STA, our gymnasts train and compete in an environment where teammates challenge and support one another. Every routine, every rotation and every athlete has a role in the success of the team. Under the leadership of Coach Brant Lutska, the program continues to develop talented student-athletes while maintaining the expectations and traditions that have made STA Gymnastics one of the premier programs in New Jersey.
THE LEGACY CONTINUES
Being part of STA Gymnastics means becoming part of a championship tradition while preparing for what comes next. Our student-athletes are challenged to bring the same discipline, determination and commitment they demonstrate in competition into the classroom and throughout the STA community.
Surrounded by dedicated coaches, teachers, teammates and the One Trojan Family, our gymnasts have an environment designed to help them succeed as students, athletes and young women prepared for college and beyond.
