STA Girls Basketball

The St. Thomas Aquinas Girls Basketball program is built on a tradition of excellence, discipline and teamwork. Consistently recognized as one of the Top 20 teams in New Jersey, the Trojans compete against some of the strongest programs in the state while representing STA with pride on and off the court.

A Championship Tradition

Success has become a defining part of STA Girls Basketball. The Trojans have captured six consecutive Greater Middlesex Conference championships, an achievement that reflects the program’s sustained commitment to preparation, consistency and high-level competition. Each season, the team enters the gym determined to build upon the accomplishments of those who came before them and continue raising the standard for the program.

Developing Student-Athletes

STA Girls Basketball is committed to developing well-rounded student-athletes. Players are challenged to grow as competitors, students, teammates and leaders while learning the value of accountability, perseverance and service to others.

The program also prepares players to pursue opportunities beyond high school. In recent years, more than a dozen Trojans have continued their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. Through strong coaching, competitive schedules and an emphasis on personal development, STA helps student-athletes prepare for success in college and beyond.
