Early Decision for 2026-2027 School Year is NOW OPEN
The FACTS Grant & Aid portal is now open for Early Decision and the deadline for Early Decision applications is November 26, 2025 at 11:59pm.
The Diocese of Metuchen provides financial aid to support low-income families that send their children within our Diocesan elementary and high schools. To be eligible your child(ren) must meet the below eligibility requirements. The Diocese of Metuchen uses the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment System to evaluate all assistance applications. These decisions are made directly by the Diocese of Metuchen and you must re-apply each year. Awards for the Early Decision Round will be announced on or around December 15, 2025. If your child is not awarded a scholarship in the Early Decision Round, but you would like your application to be re-evaluated in the Standard Round, you will need to upload your 2025 W2's to your application. This must be done by the March 31, 2026 Standard Round deadline. Awards for the Standard Round will be announced on or about the first week of June.
Please note, the Diocesan application process is independent of the application process for School Aid from St. Thomas Aquinas High School (STAHS). The application for Financial Aid through STAHS is completed in your STAHS Application for Admission. If you are applying for financial aid to St. Thomas Aquinas High School and are a parishioner within the Diocese of Metuchen, you must also complete the Application for Aid to the Diocese of Metuchen.
If you also have younger or older siblings in a Diocesan school, please note:
- You should include ALL children on this application so that they may be considered for aid in the Standard Round of Awards.
- You will need to upload your 2025 W2's to your application in order for younger or older siblings to be considered for financial aid in the Standard Round. You have until March 31, 2026 (Standard Round deadline) to upload these documents to your application. Your application for younger or older siblings WILL NOT be considered complete without your 2025 W2's. Awards for the Standard Round will be announced on or about the first week of June.
