STA’s Business Pathway gives students an early opportunity to explore the many areas of business while developing practical skills they can carry into college and their future careers. Through coursework in financial literacy, accounting, corporate finance, entrepreneurship, securities and investment principles, students build an understanding of how businesses operate, how financial decisions are made and what it takes to turn ideas into opportunities.

Opening in Fall 2026, the new Affinity Federal Credit Union Financial Lab will take learning beyond the traditional classroom, providing students with a hands-on environment to explore real-world financial and business concepts. Students will also have opportunities for internships, career-connected experiences, resume building and exposure to business professionals, helping them develop confidence and begin building a professional foundation while still in high school.

Whether a student is interested in finance, entrepreneurship, accounting, management or simply wants to better understand the business world, the pathway provides the opportunity to explore those interests before choosing a college major or career direction.
