Career Driven Academic Tracks

Approximately 75 to 85 percent of college students change their major at least once, often extending their time to graduation.¹ Providing students with meaningful career exploration before college empowers them to make informed academic decisions, helping them save both time and money as they pursue their degree.

St. Thomas Aquinas High School is advancing the student experience by preparing Trojans not only for college, but for meaningful success beyond it.
Through thoughtfully designed career driven academic paths, students are given the opportunity to explore their interests in a focused and purposeful way while still in high school. These pathways provide students with the opportunity to earn college credit while gaining early exposure to potential fields of study. By exploring career interests before graduation, students are better equipped to make informed decisions about their college major, ultimately maximizing both their time and financial investment in higher education.
Each pathway blends academic rigor with real world application. Students benefit from hands on learning experiences and mentorship from seasoned professionals who serve as adjunct faculty, bringing current industry knowledge and practical insight directly into the classroom. This model allows students to connect theory with practice and better understand the expectations and opportunities within their chosen field.
